I’m a Flint-raised and LA-based AFI ‘20 grad. Currently, I’m a Creative Director in advertising by day and unwavering screenwriter every other waking moment. This is my first time attending AFF, so if you see me alone in a corner - please come and say hi. My comedy feature, LOLO, is an AFF Semi-Finalist, my Black female-led Western, WEST WOMEN, earned Top 50 in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship and I was selected for the
Women Write Now Fellowship created by Kevin Hart’s LOL Studios and the Sundance Institute. I mostly write about complex Black women who navigate diverse worlds with humor, heart and a hint of badassery. A little fun fact - as if middle school wasn't awkward enough, the sex education class was taught by my father. It was as awesome as you imagine.
