Maureen Monterubio
Maureen tells stories that make you giggle and give your heart that warm fuzzy feeling.
She has spent over a decade of her career partnering and consulting with playwrights, screenwriters, producers, podcasters, and novelists. She has directed Oscar Award winning actress Marisa Tomei reading Elena Ferrante's acclaimed novel The Lying Life of Adults which was nominated for an Audie (the top award for audiobooks). Her film Emma On The Roof was a semi-finalist at jellyFEST Film Festival in Los Angeles. Maureen developed and directed Polyshamory which ended its tour of the US and Canada with a run at The Marsh in San Francisco.
Maureen is writing and developing The Make A Difference Dancing Delights, a narrative podcast about an adult show choir dedicating their season to spreading awareness through song and dance in their small Nebraskan town.
