Jason Laurits dropped out of film school to be a rock star. Didn’t happen. He’s been in love, pain, debt, bands, bomb shelters, and a bad music video. He’s writing it all down now. His screenplays have reached the finals in the Nashville Film Fest, LA Screenplay Awards, and StoryPros. His short film, Cocktail Hour, won best short awards at the Indy, Poppy Jasper and Merced Queer Film Festivals.
