Lately I've really been getting into the idea of formless creativity, showing up with the flow state to see what happens. So often I feel like films are calculated for an effect, instead of unfolding naturally and allowing the audience the chance to actually feel something. Isn't it strange how our desire to be good actually makes us try too hard when creating something and actually chokes the life out of it? I've suffered from that. Anyway, I'm happy to be at the festival and watch some great films.
