The famous "HartChart" is back! James V. Hart, known for his work on Hook, Contact, and Bram Stoker's Dracula, will explore how to develop characters and stories by getting to the "heart" of the script. Hart will be introducing the new expanded chart for streaming series and charting an entire season of episodes using Scott Frank's The Queen's Gambit as a case study, join this breakdown of establishing main character desires, charting the progress toward their goals, and creating a successful resolution while keeping the eyes of the audience glued to the screen. Using the HartChart's guidelines for implementing craft, learn how to embrace structure as a friend, rather than an enemy, and how to flesh out ideas for the screen.

Must have an AFF Producers or Conference Badge for entry.
