Writing for Video Games: Breaking In & Staking Claim

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The toughest part sometimes is simply breaking in. At the point of launching into a career of writing for games, how do you go about doing it? Consider the many types of narrative games players dive into and enjoy. Let's demystify that and provide a starting point for your new journey. How does a writer from industry X transition into the games industry? What advice can be offered by our panelists? The industry has a lot of avenues for entry, and we're excited to put some of them on display.

Must have an AFF Producers, Conference, Weekend, or Lone Star Badge for entry.
